Cruise down the Seine River on a dinner cruise which combines Paris sightseeing, French cuisine and evening entertainment in one unforgettable package. During dinner there's sophisticated entertainment from a singer and band as you glide along the Seine River.

Your fabulous three-course French dinner is prepared on board by Chef Gras, an Academie Culinaire de France chef, and his team. While enjoying the dishes, you'll glide down the Seine River aboard a Bateaux Parisiens boat. Bateaux Parisiens boats have a unique glass roof and panoramic windows, providing unobstructed views of the illuminated riverside sights of Paris.

The cruise departs from the Eiffel Tower and sails along the Left Bank to the illuminated Ministry of Finance building at Bercy. The cruises return to the lights of the Eiffel Tower via the Right Bank.

Service Etoile Option:
Seating is at a table of six to eight people in the middle of the boat. The boat is entirely glassed-in,  so you'll enjoy great views from the middle of the boat. Upon arrival, you'll be served a Blanc de Blancs Kir aperitif and cheese puffs along with wine, mineral water and coffee service

Service Select Option:
Seating is at a table of six to eight people by the window of the boat. You are ideally located to admire the most beautiful monuments of Paris. Choice off aperitif is included along with wine, Mineral water and coffee Service.

Service Premier Option:
Seating is at a private table for two at the front of the boat, ideal for a romantic meal in Paris. On arrival at the pier, you are greeted by a hostess and given priority boarding access. On board, a choice of aperitif with cheese puffs is served, followed by a selection of Chablis and Chateau du Gazin Canon-Fronsac wines, mineral water and coffee service.Your intimate meal is finished with delicious liqueurs.

Together with your guide, you'll cycle your hired bicycle to the RER train station to make the 20-minute trip by train to Versailles. The first of many highlights on this active day out is a visit to Versailles' village market to buy baguettes, cheese, ham, wine and whatever else you desire for your delicious picnic lunch in Versailles' gardens. These picnic provisions are purchased at your own expense.

The next highlight today is a bike ride through the gardens behind Versailles palace. You'll leave foot visitors behind on your tour of the palace by bicycle, as visitors on foot can visit only a small fraction of the palace gardens. Versailles' gardens and forests are crisscrossed by a network of fantastic trails and tree-lined paths, so bring your camera for picture-perfect views in every direction.

Arriving at the far end of the Grand Canal, you'll settle down for a picnic in the exact spot where Louis XIV, XV and XVI ate in order to marvel at their palace. Relax on the grass in peace where only your cycling group will be able to easily reach this end of the Grand Canal.

After lunch, pedal back towards the palace itself for an unforgettable view into the lives of the French monarchy before their removal from power by the Revolution in 1789. You'll visit the Hall of Mirrors (site of the treaty ending World War I), the King's State Apartments and the amazing King's Chapel (audio guide available). After your visit to Versailles you'll return to Paris via RER train.

Not the least bit strenuous, the bike tour is relaxing, energizing and fun. Once in Vernon visit the charming farmers' market to buy picnic supplies. You'll then hop on your bike and pedal across the river to a beautiful park along the banks of the Seine for lunch. At lunch you can also sample the local's favorite drink: cidre.

It will then be time for your relaxing 5 kilometer (3 miles) ride down the bike path to the village of Giverny and the world-famous gardens of Claude Monet. Cruise past the Giverny church and its cemetery containing graves of local citizens dating back to the 17th century, British soldiers from World War II and even Monet himself buried within his family's vault. You will pass the Hotel Baudy, where Impressionists Manet and Renoir used to paint.

Shortly you will arrive at the highlight of the day - Monet's Garden

Spend about 1.5 hours enjoying Monet's gardens, his house and the famous water lily pond where some of his most famous works originated. Be sure to bring your camera and plenty of film! Additionally, the village of Giverny offers you the American Museum of Art (across the street from Monet's Gardens), numerous cafes and small streets begging to be explored.

You also have the option of spending some of this time riding 3 kilometers (2 miles) to the actual cidre producer. It's a tough climb at the beginning, but with thousands of bottles of cidre awaiting you at the top, and the effortless glide down the hill back to Giverny, why not? On this journey, you will pass the Hotel Baudy where Impressionists Manet and Renoir used to paint.

The workshop is led by an expert in the perfume field who teaches professionals at the well know school of Perfumery in Versailles and is also a consultant to firms like L'Oreal. The first part of the workshop will be a discussion on the origin of The Eau de Cologne in Florence in 1221 at the convent of Santa Maria Novella, and the key ingredients and evolution around 1725 of the production of perfume in the city of Cologne.

In the first half you will learn how to smell and describe the ingredients of an eau de cologne and to learn about the characteristics belonging to different families of odors. This is then followed by a discussion of the development of different kinds of Cologne and Eaux Fraiches on the market.

The second half of the workshop is the practical part. After having smelled the different types of Eau de Cologne and Eaux Fraiches, your teacher will show you a very simple method to create the perfumes you like which you can take home with you. Six different perfumes are used (classic cologne, green tea, spicy, fruity, floral ozonic and chypre in atomizers). All the raw materials are guaranteed to correspond to the European legislation and to the IFRA recommendations.

Your chauffeur will also take you off the beaten track where you will see such places as: the Place Vendome,  the Kiosque des Noctambules and the Place de la Fontaine Stravinsky.

During your tour, you will taste a French traditional breakfast or afternoon snack at the charming place des Vosges in the "cafe Hugo".

The Citroen 2CV accommodates maximum three (3) passengers per tour, however several 2CV tours are available at the same time and will tour the city together. There are two possible routes that your Paris bike tour may take, the Marais area or the Latin Quarter.

Taking a long ride through the ancient districts of the Marais you will first arrive in front of the colorful Centre Pompidou. The Pompidou has amazed and delighted visitors since it was inaugurated in 1977, not just for its outstanding collection of modern art but for its radical architectural statement.

Leaving the Centre Pompidou, you will cross Les Halles and Palais Royal, heading for the Louvre Museum and Seine River ending with a glance at the Gothic Cathedral of Notre Dame.

The Latin Quarter and St Germain are often associated with the cultural and artistic life of Paris. Cross the Latin quarter and the Luxembourg Gardens which are popular with Parisians during the warmer weather with its formal terraces and chestnut groves covering an area of 23 hectares. Continue through the chic streets of St Germain-des-Pres home to the Paris fashion industry as well as bookshops, art galleries, antique dealers and interior design boutiques. Your tour will conclude at the ancient roman site of Arenes de Lutece, once a Roman ampitheatre seating around 10, 000 spectators for gladiatorial combats and other events.

The sacred town of Reims is the capital of the Champagne region and known throughout the world for its sparkling wine, champagne. Reims is also the city of coronations where most of the French Kings were crowned.

In the morning, your orientation tour of Reims includes a guided visit of the Gothic cathedral. Then onto the Mumm cellars for a commented visit and a tasting of the famous Cordon rouge Champagne wine before stopping for lunch (own expense).

In the afternoon, enjoy the picturesque landscape of vines between Reims and Epernay. At Epernay you will visit the prestigious wine cellars of Moet &  Chandon with the opportunity to taste their reputed wine.

The cellars visit is a walking tour. The cellars can be cold so please dress warmly.

Take a full-day tour from Paris to one of the most popular attractions in France, the fairytale island of Mont Saint Michel off the coast of Normandy. You'll visit the exquisite Benedictine abbey of Mont Saint Michel, one of the wonders of Europe. The drive from Paris to Normandy takes you through the picturesque French countryside to Mont Saint Michel, a major cultural and pilgrimage center during the Middle Ages. Your drive through the picturesque Normandy countryside takes you to the Caen Memorial, devoted to illustrations and films about the Second World War and the Normandy landings of June 1944.  

After lunch at the Memorial, visit the Pointe du Hoc, a German defense position that was heroically taken by US soldiers during World War II. Continue to the American cemetery of  Saint-Laurent, the final resting place of almost 10,000 soldiers. You will also have free time at Omaha Beach to reflect on the site's moving history and visit the Omaha Beach Visitor Center, which describes the American soldiers' operations on the famous beach in June 1944.

Before returning to Paris, stop at the Canadian Memorial at Juno beach and Arromanches to see the remains of the artificial landing harbor that was built by the Allies in less than 15 days.

The vineyards of the Champagne region spread out as you travel to the historic village of Hautvillers, the birthplace of Champagne, where Dom Perignon, often considered as the "Father of Champagne", started its production.

In the morning visit "Champagne Nicolas Feuillatte" (or equivalent), a trendy champagne brand. This is also a cooperative of wine-growers near Epernay and the tour guide will choose one winery to visit. Explanation of blending, riddling and disgorging process followed by a free champagne tasting.

For lunch, you will stop in the centre of Epernay at a local restaurant.

The afternoon begins at Reims, capital of the Champagne region. You'll stop at the world famous Mumm champagne house where an expert will offer an invaluable insight into the making of this prestigious label. The discovery of the cellars will be be followed by a champagne tasting session (one glass per person).

Before returning to Paris, you'll see the center of Reims and take a short visit of the Cathedral. It's a gothic masterpiece, where the Kings of France were crowned.

Departing from Paris' most famous landmark, the Eiffel Tower, you will begin a unique tour through the city. Pulling this elegant carriage is Pride, a 6 year old black Shire. The carriage can carry up to 6 passengers, but a maximum of 4 is recommended.

Your drive to Belgium takes you through northern France to Bruges, not far from the North Sea in northern Belgium. Bruges is a simply exquisite town. The intact medieval centre of this Unesco World Heritage site looks like a living canvas painted by a Flemish old master.

Upon arrival in Bruges, your guided tour begins with a walk through the city's medieval heart. Begin your walking tour at the bottom of  the picturesque rue Mouffetard with its history, myth and mystique which is also home to Ernest Hemingway. After your first glass of wine you will pass Saint Medard, a church founded in 1140, and see the bar from the famous french film "Amelie" before heading up the hill towards the Pantheon. This massive temple was commissioned in 1744 by Louis XV and built by the architect Jacques-Germain Soufflot. It was originally a church, but under the revolution it became a burial place for the honored men of France. It houses the bodies of Voltaire, Rousseau, Mirabeau, Marat, Victor Hugo and Emile Zola.

Arrive at a small local wine bar resembling an old Parisian bistro with tiled floor, wooden chairs, and old black and white photos on the wall. Afterwards, make your way downhill and pass the Church of Sainte Genevieve built  between 1492 and 1626 and noted for it stained glass windows, as well as the famous Sorbonne University and rue de la Huchette home of one of the oldest Jazz Clubs in Paris.

As you approach the Seine you will see Notre Dame before arriving at your next tasting that will take place at a Specialist of Bordeaux where you'll lose the notion of time, perceiving not only the authenticity of the decor, but also that unique atmosphere that can only be found in places steeped in history!

On this fun packed walking tour of Paris' Left Bank, the itinerary is decided by the children. Visit the natural history museum with a cool parade of life-size African animals. You'll pass through the area of Saint-Sulpice church: a magnificent architectural masterpiece, where Hemingway lived with his second wife, as did Francis Scott Fitzgerald.

You'll also see where Wilde ended his days on rue des Beaux Arts.

If you have chosen the morning tour, you will double back for lunch in a restaurant which is housed in the 3rd oldest building in Paris and secret Paris institution frequented by government officials, magistrates from the nearby courts and other well know personalities. The building is classed as a historic monument and is the most important remains of the Hotel des Abbees de Fecamp and the third oldest in Paris on rue Hautefeuille dating back to 1292. During the renaissance the bulding was reconstucted with interior wooden arabesque sculptures and molding and for exterior ornaments the Fleurs de Lys with a Salamander, a symbol favored by Francois 1.

You can also choose to take a guided tour of the local markets in Paris, a unique opportunity to meet local butchers, bakers, and farmers selling vegetables from their gardens. Renoir, the great impressionist artist, lived in Montmartre. Monet, Degas and Van Gogh all lived or worked on the Butte.

Make your way up the hill past Au Lapin Agile, which actually began as a cabaret, but became the meeting place of the fathers of Modern Art. Just before World War I many artists and writers such as Picassso, Modigliani, Utrillo, Derain and Apollinaire lived nearby and would meet here. The interior has not changed over the years and has a flavor of Montmartre as it was at the turn of the century when it was a favorite of local artists and "bohemians".

Pass the vineyards still producing wine today and off to the main square of Montmartre, the Place de Tertres, which is famous the world over for its outdoor cafes and artists. No visit to Montmartre, or Paris for that matter, is complete without a stop at Sacre Coeur to see a magnificent view over the rooftops of Paris.

Continue past the famous restaurant and windmill, Moulin la Galette made famous by Renoir's painting. The restaurant was once a favorite of the famous French entertainer and gay icon, Dalida.

You'll see the cafe where the very successful movie Amelie, was filmed. The movie is, for the most part, set in Montmartre and then on to your wine tasting. At the end of the tasting you can stay for dinner or wander down to the bottom of the hill to see the famous Moulin Rouge.

Start your wine promenade at a small, local bistro behind the old department store of Samaritaine. Here you will try the first white wine looking for the freshness in the first wines tasted. You will then walk towards Les Halles, called by Zola the belly of Paris, and a former market with its many restaurants and bistros that catered to the thousands of professionals visiting the Marche des Halles before its destruction in the 1970's. Here you will stop at another local bistro with authentic ambiance for a glass of wine like the Muscadet 200 or Sancerre 2003.

Walk through Les Halles to reach the cobbled old market street of rue Montorgueil, a street that has retained its original atmosphere, with restaurants, bars and lively activity just behind the church of St-Eustache. Enter a bistro that has been renovated to keep old customers happy, but also develop a new, younger clientele. This bistro is well known for its quality selection of wines. There you will enjoy reds, such as Beaume de Venise 2003, or Morgon vieilles vignes.

Onward to a fine food store and wine bar. Here you can taste Moulin a Vent La Coudriere 2003 as well as purchase foie gras and other fine food products. Pass the Place des Victoires built in 1865 and now home to Paris design talent, and on to the 19th century covered Passage Vivienne built in 1823 in order to visit one of the most famous and well-stocked wines stores in Paris.
